had this netbook for 14 months, and it quit working. called acer,and they would not talk to me when they found out its out of warranty, unless i paid them 95.00 an hour. this netbook had less than 20 hours use. i found out it cost more to fix than buying a new one. THIS IS A THROUGHAWAY, DONT BUY. ITS JUNK

I find this a great little travel computer. The only problem I have found is the toggle switch with the touch pad is very difficult to work and found they are not replaceable.

I am using this netbook since summer 2009,
and it is more than I asked for at this price. There
was initially a problem with the order, since I
found out that it was a refurbished (returned)
item with previous owners data on it. But
amazon reacted quickly and provided the option
to return it or have a discount. I chose to keep it,
and am happy that I did.
It really is great to quickly check e-mails, look up
something in the web, or even longer surfing
sessions. Screen size is small, but it doesn't
bother much, especially if you use the full-screen
(F11) browsing. Battery life is great. I usually
charge only once a week. And you can even
type longer e-mails on it if you have to (unlike
iPad, where it is a pain to type anything longer
than a sentence).
For anything more however (gaming, or any
serious work), you will need something more
substantial.

Excellent Price and Great quality!! I will always
stick with an Acer laptop or desktop!! Great
machines. I have had many and all still work!!

and at first it was a great computer.. now i see
its flaws. the speakers in it are messing up so
music/videos sound terrible, it overheats ALOT,
and 7 keys on my keyboard are broken (iv tried
everything to fix them, the keyboard itself broke,
not there sticky, dirty, etc) admittedly i could buy
a replacement keyboard buy im to lazy, and not
rolling in money. its processor is terrible and
graphics card very weak. the only reason why
im not giving it a 1 star is cause im surprised it
lasted a year.... >.<
